For a while now I've been getting these spam messages for stock tips. They all follow the same pattern. The usually come with some odd random phrase or word in the subject line that has nothing to do with the stock tip. I used to never get these and now I get them regularly, a handful every day. Also, the tip itself is usually not written out in the text but inserted as a picture in the body of the e-mail. I'm not sure if they're all coming from the same place or is the result of some kind of virus or something. I run ad-aware reguarly too.

thanks for the help!!

Do not open them. Delete them. If you use Outlook Express, create a rule that will discard them immediately. They are not from a virus on your computer. Your email address is on the spammer's list, and they will continue to send emails if they think they are being received/read. Eventually they will go away, or be replaced with some other annoying subject line. If I had a nickel for every email I've gotten from a Nigerian with a dead relative who left a fortune that only I can retrieve (for a price!) I could buy Nigeria.
