Hey there,

First time poster here. I saw a thread with the problem it looks like my ladyfriend's laptop now has, so thought it be best to get help here.

I went through all the steps on the 'click here before posting a hijack this log' section. The only difference being the antivirus software, as I have Avast! already installed on her system and have done multiple checks.

Anyhow, the problem is as the title states. Somehow her laptop picked up a virus somewhere, and it ran multiple processes initially and altered some IE files before I was able to kill some of it with avast and some spyware protection. However, she now gets the aforementioned blue screen, sometimes just when surfing the internet, but primarily after she closes her laptop, lets it go into the sleep state, then reopens it and attempts to log in. That may be a different crash, however. The screens looked the exact same to me, but I got the lzx32.sys line from the bottom of the one I saw, which was while surfing on Firefox. She said that she thought the other blue screen had a different line, but if that's the case, I'll have to attempt to repro that to figure out what line it was.

Regardless, hopefully you can help me rid this laptop of any other problems the programs didn't cure, and nip this in the bud. Here is the hijackthis log.

Edit:
It looks like we have two different blue screen crashes now. The first one, listed in the initial post, has only happened once and it was while surfing the internet on Firefox. The more common one, that happens any time she re-opens her laptop after having closed it and putting into sleep mode. She'll open it, go back to the login screen, and attempt to login, then it will hit the blue screen. The only difference we noticed was the file named in this crash is "bcmw15.sys".

Hope this edit doesn't count as a second post, as I remember the notice about not bumping threads and such. Just wanted to make sure this extra information was added in.

Edit 2:
Second .sys file listed, same style blue screen. Seemed to happen when the computer was left idle for a while, but she says it happens seemingly at random. "NDIS.sys" is it.
