Not so fast :whistling:

If when you need to install anything you get a windows installer error, run 3 and 4, install whatever, then run 1 and 2 if necessary

It happens, and then the problem can be it wants to re-install Excel, difficult if it was a trial install without CD's

Either of the other Office suites should be fine

Usually you can uninstall them

Hopefully it was a one off

There is a repair option also, though probably not helpful for installer problems, you don't necessarily need to format as an only option
