If your motherboard does not handle USB 2.0, then the easiest and quickest is to install a USB 2.0 card in the unit.

This is a very generic question. According to your sig, you're running XP. However, you haven't stated what version of XP (SP1, SP2), your machine specs, if it's a laptop or desktop.
We may be able to recommend PCI add-on cards and such, but not knowing your specs hinders what info we should give.

There is no difference between usb 2.0 and usb 2.0 high speed. The usb 2.0 has a standerd speed. U can sell it as a fast connection cause it is faster than usb 1.1 but it is all the same speed. (Its a dealer gimic )
