As of recently I have no been able to connect to the internet to update software such as Itunes, Ad-Aware etc.

I got a message saying this from Motorola Liveupdate
"Connection to update server failed.
The error code is WinInet=12029 [ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT].
Check your internet connection is active and that no filtering or security system is blocking the connection (Control Panel -->Internet Options)

I got this message after a restart and an error regarding some MAAgent.exe occurred.

Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
