From what I read previously that my videocard driver might be causing the problem. My bios has been flashed to most recent bios from msi.

Hi there,

Do you have any removable hardware connected to your computer? Eg. A USB drive? or any CDs or floopys in your computer? If so try removing them and then restart your pc.

Hope that helps! :whistling:

Sorry for the long delay.

Try removing the USB devices as they are probably causing the freeze.

(S)he has already said that there is no USB Devices attached, so thats been ruled out.

Are you able to turn the PC on now? or is it still hanging at the XP Logo?

Those can cause problems with hangs cause of corrupted drivers so they did not.

Its working now because I reinstalled the OS again... So far so good for 24 hours. I am not sure it might be the USB wireless keyboard.

Try using a PS/2 keyboard and mouse and unplug the USB soundcard.
