My brother's laptop is on crack! Everytime i double click on the Internet Explorer icon that's on the desktop, it doesn't open up an IE window, INSTEAD, it creates a "Shortcut to Internet Explorer" file! I clicked like 10 times, and it created 10 shortcuts. Anyone know what's going on?

right click the icon, choose properties> shortcut tab and make sure the target says:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
(Change the C to whatever drive the OS lives on)
