Am trying to connect wirelessly to a Belkin wireless gateway router, model F5D6231.

When I leave the network unsecured I can connect effortlessly.

When I secure the network, assign a passphrase and enable WEP, I get a page can not be displayed message. When I double click on my wireless netowrk icon I get a message saying that it could not retrieve an IP address and that I have limited to no connection.

Any thoughts as to what I need to do to be able to connect?

Passphrase was entered correctly on the laptop I'm having trouble connecting with.

Thanks.
