This is a relatively new feature for Yahoo free accounts. I saw it recently when playing with anti-spam settings. So I decided to test it and eventually start using it.

For those who aren't familiar with this feature, it's a way of fighting against spam by creating as much as 500 disposable email address and using them in various registrations thus not giving away your original email address.
All email sent to these disposable addresses is automatically forwaded to your original inbox.

Now, my problem is that these disposable addresses don't work. All mail sent to them returns with the following error:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<*****@yahoo.com>
(reason: 554 delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account

I have two Yahoo accounts and I can't get the AddressGuard to work on either of them.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes. Like this for example: [email protected]
And all the addresses are shown in the appropriate field. For example
untitled.PNG

Are you using this feature? Do you also have a free Yahoo account?

I tried all combinations including that too. Tried sending from a disposable address... I tried anything I could think of.

I think this doesn't work for anyone who has a free account. Is there any Yahoo user to test it?

I am unfortunate. Yahoo.co.uk doesn't work either. But it works for you right? That's very strange indeed.

But they don't have any contact email as I'm aware. Is there a way to contact their support?

In the UK, you log in to the mail account, click help, so you are in the mail help section, select the nearest topic, at the bottom it has click yes if it answered, click no to contact Yahoo support
