I have a sony vaio pcgfrv37 P4 2.8 pc2100 512 and I upgraded it to 1 gig ( 2corsairs 512 pc 2100)
and it crashed everyonce in a while so i figured it aint compatible so i replaced the orignal ram and
hasn't crashed since. Any clues y it might be crashin as they're both pc 2100 ddr266 and the computer
boots up fine.

Also i got a free toshiba a55 s1065 1.5 pentium celeron with 256 pc2700mem
would it be ok for me to just put the 2 corsairs 512 pc2100 into it.

For the Toshiba, i beleive so, it would just run the ram and a lower speed (2100 is slower then 2700) so yes.
