possible worm??? other issues??? files / folders replicating !!! no idea where from... all files / folders with same name not necessarily same modification date...some of the story:
tower hard drive c had low memory warnings. backup hard drive f = no memory problem. computer guy replaced both drives w/ larger memory. data cloned from old drives to new ones. (btw: computer guy ran most updated avast antivirus on entire system)
subset of data on old c also backed up on usb flash memory stick which was used to transfer data to laptop...
when i got tower back, new drives have SEVERAL copies of data folders / files from various time frames in terms of "revision" or when created / modified - not just last updated data.
i have two outlook email addresses. iteration that now exists is not completely old and not completely new. i have no idea as to the ryhme or reason of the "now" data that exists. most outlook folders are missing completely. some are duplicated or triplicated. "repeated folders" are not even the same iterations. i can't seem to get a handle on where this stuff came from. same with the replicated folders / files in my hard drives...
before installing new drives, i ran most updated avast antivirus on my tower (all drives), laptop (all drives), and flash card. no virus detected on any. i ran most updated spybot on all three. all three clean. i just ran avast & spybot again on all 3. still clean. YET PROBLEM EXISTS.
btw: when i used my flash memory card to compare files in laptop, i WATCHED as a folder was replicated on laptop hard drive called "Removable Drive E". all info from flash drive was actually replicated onto laptop hard drive! i removed flash drive, deleted replicated folder from hard drive & from recycle bin.
am concerned that i backed up original c drive with corrupt data to original f drive as well as to flash memory which then transferred it to laptop. further that same corrupt data was cloned to my new tower drives from original ones.
any help appreciated!!! i use these computers for personal as well as my business... have been down for a week and a half! HELP!!!

5) Panda - 3 unsuccessful attempts to download - Avast stopped dl each time with "virus found" warning:
