All you need is a program the will read the cd and let you play the game. I tried EPSXE and managed to play some games for PS1. You don't even need a playstation to emulate the games on the pc. You will have to download the PS1 bios and video and sound plugins for it to work.

TechTV article on emulators:
http://www.techtv.co...3673359,00.html

Download EPSXE:
http://www.ngemu.com...action=download

Get Your Plug-ins Here (I recommend "Pete's" video and sound plug-ins)
http://www.ngemu.com...?action=plugins

Get The BIOS Here:
http://utilities.psx.../epsxe_bios.zip

Step-by-step Guide:
http://www.epsxe.com/help.php

I don't have a PS2, but you might want looking around here for a PS2 emulator:

Yes and yes <_<. Just try it. Those options are there. I don't know about that USB adapter though. I just bought a USB PC game controller (looks just like a ps1 dual shock controller).

Is there any way that I can get an emulator that doesnt need the disks, because I cant find the games that I want to play in the stores.

No, it's not illegal if you own the games. This is the comment that concerned me:

Is there any way that I can get an emulator that doesnt need the disks, because I cant find the games that I want to play in the stores

I didn't close the topic, just a reminder. :tazz:

ePSXe has a menu option Open ISO.... As long as you have the CD saved to a file on your hard drive, I run it that way. As far as I know, it will read files burned with CloneCD, Nero, or Alcohol 120%, as well as any software that can save a CD in ISO format.

I strongly recommend it; it saves wear and tear on your drive bearings, solves all disk-switching problems, and vastly improves access times.

actually its legal to have them if you dont own the original CD until 24 hours afterwards when you must delete them otherwise it will become illegal.
