My win xp started hanging and getting really slow. I did a deep antivirus scan with norton and nothing came up. I also used adaware and it was clean. Then I downloaded ie7 and started having problems with java. I removed ie7: java still won't run and computer still slow and hanging. The java console says "awt blocker activation interrupted: java.lang.interruptedexception. I don't know if I should do a clean install or what. I have hijackthis but I don't really know how to use it. I also have xpmedic registry cleaner. Please help. I just started an online business yesterday and I need this fixed.

Thanks again
