Hi all

I'm really mad now. I've been playing GTA3 - (The normal, original one) in the 1st area, however, it's lagging a bit in the second area.... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???

Here are my specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 2.00Ghz Processor
1024MB RAM
160GB HDD
128MB GeForce 6150

With those specs, surely the game can't lag AT ALL??? :whistling: :help:

Any advice?

Did you update your video card yet? Do you have DirectX 9?

Hi

Yeah, I've updated it to the latest ForceWare driver, and I have DirectX 9.0c.

I have another question for you.

Is the Video card you using onboard? Onboard video card is not very good for gaming.

Well yeah, I got it with my PC when I bought it. What is the difference between the one they put in, and one that I buy seperately?

The onboard is integrated and it's shared memory from the RAM. The AGP or PCI-Express X16 card is dedicated and it's good for gaming. Btw, do you have an AGP or PCI-Express slot?

PCI-Express. Why is the integrated onboard card slower than an external one?

Integrated card is just crap for some reason. You can get a good PCI-Express video for no more than 200 bucks. There's some expensive card for 300 bucks or more, but I dont recommend buying them. You're better off with a good card for up to 200 bucks.

This card is pretty good. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814150183

If you dont want to pay that much, Then this one is cheaper and very good.

Hi

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me one last thing please...

Why does NFS Carbon, FIFA 2007, COD etc work without ANY lagging, yet an old game like GTA3 does? :whistling:
