What exactly did you drag and drop?
If you only wants Contacts, you can export them to a PST file, move that file to the WMC machine and import them back into Outlook.
To Export Contacts
Open Outlook
File Menu
Import and Export
Export to a file
Personal Folder File (.pst)
Select the Contact folder - be sure you choose the correct folder
Select "Include Subfolders" if necessary
Choose where to save the file and give it a name
To Import Contacts
Open Outlook
File Menu
Import and Export
Import from another \program or file
Personal Folder File (.pst)
Browse to the file you want to import ** be sure to check Options carefully
Choose where to import the Contacts
Please post the results

thanks for the idea. my boss was the one trying to do this and he said he tried that and it didn't work. Finally what he did is hi light the contacts and then dragged them into a file on the WMC machine and then dragged them into outlook...
