Discover Deskshop Not Working

My Discover Deskshop is not working and has not been working for the last three or four months.
Prior to that it worked fine.
Deskshop is THE REASON I opened an account with Discover because I do a lot of on line shopping.
My Java is all enabled.
That is not the issue.
I use AI Roboform as well and it is working fine.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Deskshop.
No luck.
It works because the white card comes up on the screen with "Please wait".
It then goes gray and never proceeds further.
I don't know what else to try.
I am a bit suspicious of System Mechanic as I loaded it at about the same time (I think)
Any help would be much appreciated.

have you contacted discover to see if they have any support for thier app? If you have reinstalled it, then any changes that system mechanic did should have been undone.

I have contacted Discover but they are unresponsive.
They have instructions on their web site, which I have followed to the letter.
I just sent them another message today:

I am unable to use Discover Deskshop.
It looks like my browser, IE6, is blocking cookies from 2o7.net, Omniture.
Below is my setting.
x Compare cookies' Privacy Policy to my settings
What do I do to get it back?
I have already put the Discover site on my Intranet trusted sites and followed all your instructions for settings.
Why are you using Omniture?
The Deskshop service is the only reason I have a Discover Card.

I finally got some help from DiscoverDeskshop.
Here it is for others who run into the same problem.
It was my security settings in IE.
As I responded to them, now I need to decide which is more important to me: Security or Discover Deskshop???

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding Secure Online Account Numbers. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced difficulties with this feature.

To check or change the security settings on your browser please do the following:

1. Open Microsoft® Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools
3. Choose Internet Options
4. Click on the General tab
5. Click on Delete Files
6. Select the Security tab
7. Click on Default Level
8. Select the Privacy tab
9. Change the settings from High to Low
10. Select the Advance tab
11. Click on Restore Default
12. Click on OK

If this fails to resolve the issue, please respond with as much technical information as possible including the exact text of any error messages you are receiving (if applicable).
