I use PeoplePC to log on to the net....I have my security on high, and run Norton. I also do an ATF Cleaner and run SpyBot every other day or so.

On Internet Options, Tools, Security, I allowed PeoplePC on both intra and local (I had trouble because of their cookies, signing on) Well, I couldn't get the front page that usually comes up, ever, so I was forced to go to IE to get on once I was connected.
I went to the Security Sites to see what I had written...
My original https://peoplepc.com had been changed to https://*peoplepc.com....I am wondering if I was being re-directed somehow. I never put that * there and it wasn't on the drop down list either.

2nd problem...I keep getting a BartShel.exe error when signing out....and...........

3rd problem...when I type a document and save it in Word, something weird happens. I go to my documents and there is a "ghost" file of the same thing there only it's got a "~" thingy in front of it and the icon is kind of lighter...like a ghost copy....any ideas? I would very much appreciate your help in getting to the root of this...I feel like I am totally being watched.....don't know.
Thank you so much,
Knowslittle
