WMP10 & KEM Remote Host

Under my view menu tab, theres the option to 'switch to other program' this brings up a tab called 'KEM remote host'. When clicked, it shuts down WMP but brings up no other program. Does anyone know what this so- called other program does?

I would guess that it is some legacy program that went no where with Microsoft. I know they purchased companies left and right as they did their fast paced growth. But then they trashed just as many as they matured as a corporation.
