I need to replace my motherboard plagued with bad caps, I currently have a Compaq Presario S4020WM, its pretty old, but I found and new motherboard to replace it. The new board and old both have about the same components, I guess my question is if I will likely need to buy a new case to go with the board, or if I should not have any problems installing the new board in my old case. Im just not sure if Compaq might have a propetery form factor or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

It is unusual for any standard motherboard to NOT fit in the compaq case. The one time i did find a case where a standard Mb did not fit was in a older deskpro workstation low profile case.
