After having Kat help me with removal of my malware I can no longer connect to the internet and have several other associated problems including not being able to renew under ipconfig. Hints would be approciated.

You can download Winsock Fix here: http://www.cit.corne...spyware/WinFix/

It can sometimes repair internet connection issues. This link also includes other information on running the utility.
