Is there anyway I can connect to a computer (for example my friends) and share the mouse/keyboard with him using windows remote desktop?
I can connect, but it always logs him off, and thats not what I want.

You can also both use TightVNC

Set it up on both ends and you can control his system like if you were sitting right there... no logging off...

I use this internally while maintaining a few boxes that I don't need a monitor for... it works externally too, but be warned that you should disable the port and forwarding after you are finished working with it because it can potentially leave you vulnerable.
