I have W2K and Roxio Creator 8. A Sony CD-RW disk I made the mistake of pushing the exit bottom instead of the EJECT command. Now the disk is not accessible because of "an I/O device error."
My question: Is there a way to fix the disk to make it "readable" again? All help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Gonzalez...

Try the procedure found in this Microsoft Article.

If that doesn't bring the desired results, try uninstalling the drive in Device Manager and let Windows reinstall it when you restart the machine. Does this allow you to access the drive?
