My computer was working fine and i could play DVDs but then i kept getting a blue screen up as the computer turned on and so i uninstalled and reinstalled windows, it deleted everything but the computer is at least working the only problem is i now can't play DVDs. I would appreciate anyone who could shed some light on why this has happend and how i can fix it.

What kind of software did you previously use to play DVDs, has it been reinstalled, and what kind of error message do you get when you try to play one?
