Hi Have a:

P4 3ghz
with 1500ddr2 ram pc3200
800mhz front side bus
Two Sata hard drives 1:160gb, another 320gb
geforce 7600gt graphics card

Problem:
After reinstalling my computer, and doing some registry tweaks, along with stopping some services, and startup junk in msconfig my computer freezes on the littlest things such as:
Openning any new windows, start, windows updates, notepad, etc. The hard drive light stay lit green for a long time, and I thought it was a heat problem, but cleaned all the dust out, and ran with cover off, still the same. I have had all hard ware for about 3months, and this problem just started happening recently.

I put the OS system on one harddrive, and the rest of the program files such as agames and utilites on the other one.

Please any help appreciated and here is my log. P.S: even copying the log made me freeze for like 15seconds. I used to be able to play two online games, look at websites, and have word open all at the same time.

Generally when you're installing a different operating system it's a good idea to completely remove all the old partitions, even to the point of writing the drive to all zeros in some cases, install new partitions that you know are compatable with the new system, and them format the drives for installation. Just formatting alone can leave stuff on the hard drive, especially the boot sector and MBR that can cause problems.

Its also advisable to leave your registry alone and use a 3rd party application to optimise your system where ever possible.
