Hi Guys,

I came to this forums about a year ago for help and found it very helpful.

Here is my problem.

I always have my CMYK colour pallette displayed on the right hand side of the monitor present me with the dull colours in comparison to the RGB pallette.

The other morning I turned on my computer and the CMYK colour pallette looks like RGB colours as it is very bright now. I have tried to reinstall, close and open the pallettes, change monitors... nothing works.

Please could someone help me as my business depends on the colours being CMYK for printing purposes.

Thanks
Dawid

I am only going by my Corel Draw 12 suite program. Can you click on the white/black icon at the top of the color palatte docked on the right side of the corel draw screen? It should have a arrow in the corner that you can click and click on edit / palette editor and set it to the default cmyk with the down arrow key at the top of the window.

Thanks, I tried what you said but the colours still seem the same :whistling: Is there anything else you can think of? A mate of mine has the same issue.

Well, i hate to say it but it seems that corel software can be kinda flakey. I have been using it sind Corel draw 5 and find it easier to just uninstall the software and reinstall when things start getting corrupted. I have learned to save all my registration stuff so i don't have any problems installing. Sorry i can't help you more. In my corel draw 12 the colors do not change when i switch to rgb from cmyk and viceversa.

I know it’s a little late for a reply, but to all the people who are having this problem please try this (as it worked for me).

Go to tools / colour management > use the drop down menu and select 'optimised for desktop printing'. It was set to default

Please let me know if this works :)
