Sims 1: blinking cursor

about 2 weeks ago, the cursor in my Sims game started blinking. i deleted the entire game and re-installed it, without all the stuff i downloaded, and it's still blinking, what could it be? pleeeaaseee helppp, the cursor is dragging all over the screen, ahhhh

copy the entire music folder into the music folder on ure hardrive and if that doesnt work try copyng that clockspl the disc icon thing into ure hardrive if that doesnt work format ure hardrive LOL
