If you are referring to FOLDER OPTIONS missing from the TOOLS drop-down menu, like the following:

Posted Image

then please do the following:

---------------------------------

Please right click this LINK, choose SAVE LINK AS or SAVE TARGET AS, and save it somewhere on your computer where you will remember where it is located. Then find the file on your computer and double-click it to run it. Click YES to the warning: Are you sure you want to add the information in FILE LOCATION HERE\folderoptions.reg to the registry? Then reboot your computer and once rebooted, see if Folder Options is once again visible under TOOLS.

----------------------------------

Are you the only user of this PC? Or is the computer your parents and you have your own account on it? If that is the case, then most likely they set you up with a limited account.
