Hi,

A pop-up ad snuck in as I was trying to click another link, and my computer is running slow. Also, when I restarted my computer, then tried to open IE to get here for help (you guys are my savior, by the way), a window appeared that I had never seen. It said "A problem was experienced while trying to open Internet Explorer. Please restart your system if the problem continues," or something to that effect. I tried to open IE again, and it works, so maybe there is some malware on my computer that needs me to restart it to begin working? Also, sometimes when I click links in IE, it completely locks up that window and I have to CtrlAltDel and end task to get it to close. It doesn't do this for every link, but I'd say maybe 50-60%. For instance, I posted a new topic here, since this one wasn't getting any hits. I couldn't find this one buried back in all these pages, so I thought maybe it didn't get posted. Anyway, I got a reply on that topic that said I had two topics active and the link to this one was in the reply. I tried to click it, and it froze. I have no idea what to do...anyway, here's my hijackthis log:
