Hi everyone, this morning I clicked on my roommates profile for aim where it said something like..."Wow who would have thought that I would find_______'s picture here...click here." So stupid as I am, I clicked on it, and now I have a virus Norton tells me is called Trojan Dropper, but when I ran a scan nothing commes up. So I downloaded Stop-Sign and it is finding the files, but I delete them and then some of them reappear. Do you know how I can get rid of this virus? Also my roommates computer no longer lets her onto Internet Explorer and is freezing a lot, is there anyway you can help us?

Welcome Britchick565 <_<

You're on the right track, only to remove this Trojan with Norton you first need to boot your computer in safe mode, and then run a full system scan.

How to start Windows XP in safe mode:
"Start Windows, or if it is running, shut Windows down, and then turn off the computer.
Restart the computer. The computer begins processing a set of instructions known as the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS). What is displayed depends on the BIOS manufacturer. Some computers display a progress bar that refers to the word BIOS, while others may not display any indication that this process is happening.
As soon as the BIOS has finished loading, begin tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. Continue to do so until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers will generate a "keyboard error" message. Please restart, and then try again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using the arrow keys on the keyboard, scroll to and select the Safe mode menu item, and then press Enter."

When you get the trojan taken care of, come back and we'll take care of the Spyware that's causing some of your other problems. :D
