My sons want me to try and set up COD2 so we can play against each other.
I tried a quick test to see if I could start a server and it bailed on me.
We have a wireless router and excellent" connection to each station.
I don't expect it to be easy, but I don't know where to start or how to do it. Not sure if there is a "how to" I can access.
Any help would be appreciated
thanks

The first thing you will need to do is aquire the ip address of the computer that will be hosting the game. You can do this by going to start - run - type "cmd". This will bring up the command prompt for windows. Inside of the cmd prompt type "ipconfig". The ip adress of your computer will be displayed. This the adress that your second computer will use to connect to your host computer.

Host computer - LAN Game - Host Game
Second computer - LAN Game - Join game - enter ip address

Hope that covers it.
