I've been subscribed to the World of Warcraft video game for a while, and never had this problem until fairly recently.

During the normal course of my play, there are times when the game crashes completely, back out to the desktop, and allows me to send an error report. I've also noticed that when I Alt+Tab out of the game to open a web browser or some such, the graphics on the desktop are torn up like shredded cheese or something. Like someone ran the screen through a paper shredder.

In the past, I've run the game just fine on the same system, but I did, over the summer upgrade my video card from a Radeon 9550 to a Radeon X1300. The ram is at 1 gig, running XP SP2... I'm not sure what else matters. Same monitor the whole time. I mean, the game used to run without crashing, the only issue being server communication errors, but those weren't my fault.

So, any ideas what the problem might be? I'd hate for it to be the video card, but that's my inkling. And if that's the case, is there any way to fix it short of buying a new video card?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Primasapere,

First of all, Nearly ALL games Do Not support minimizing or reducing the window at ANY time. This may cause the game to "Crash" or "black out". Meaning the game will close and create a report error.

Have you tried updating all Video/Graphics and sound drivers?

If so let me know what versions you have.

JaZzA!
