Hi there geekstogo. Can someone tell me who or what akamaitechnologies is?

The lead up to my question consists of this.

- Everytime i connect to the internet and open a site/program that connects to the net it is in my -netstat connections.

- Thought it could have been a malicous domain/site i have clicked on in the past.

- Rebuilt my computer and i still seem to connect to this/it.

Im thinking it just may be a domain that optusnet connects through (My isp in australia). Any idea's ppl?
