In other words, can I have both installed on my computer at the same time? Or does installing 2007 automatically overwrite/uninstall 2003?

It will upgrade 2003 to 2007.

Mar-Moi,
That would work, however Microsoft strongly advises against having two office suites installed at the same time. That'd be like having two antivirus programs installed on the same computer at once.
