I exited all anti-spyware and anti-virus programs. In tools I took privacy to minimum and in security I enabled all activex controls. I was unable to download from Adobe so used a mirror at Soft32.com.
I have tried run and I have saved the program to my desktop and installed from there. No luck.

When I tried to used the security setting for Activex scripts to prompt. Almost all internet explorer windows came with the prompt that an activex script wanted to be activated. ( the gist not the exact prompt)

clear your prefetch folder
start run
type in prefetch click ok
edit select all
on any blue file right click and delete
confirm delete

then run crap cleaner
http://www.stevengou...ftware/cleanup/
restart computer and try to install
adobe 9
then restart your computer
from start control panel
go to add/remove progams to see if it installed

Thank you Rusin1nd . I followed the procedures. In add/remove programs Adobe flash 9 is there but has no byte rating shown next to it. It also does not allow me to see flash.

Do you have other ideas.

T hank you, this has solved my problem. I need to look at marketing websites and was unable to see much of the content before.
