:whistling: me!

Here's my problem:
I tried to download an application called PSP Video 9 1.74 so that I could convert my PC videos to PSP video format. Half way through, I had to cancel the program. Now I can't remove the application it was downloading. It says it is being used by another program or person! I already cleared it from Mozilla's download bar, so no other program is using it! I cant even move it! I tried disabling my internet and I couldnt remove it still! Please help Geeks!

Hi, and welcome to Geeks to Go!

First, did you cancel the download or the install?

Have you rebooted? If not, do that and try again. Did you get it removed?

If not, try booting into Safe Mode. While starting your computer tap the F8 key once every second during the memory count up, or during the system spash screen where you see the system maker's name (HP, COMPAQ, DELL....etc.) This will result in a text based menu. Use the curors/arrorw keys to navigate to SAFE MODE and hit enter. Are you able to remove it now?

Thanks for your help. But it didnt work :whistling:

Here are what I have tried out so far:
*Stopped all applications + used Process in Task Manager to close applications.
*Downloaded several programs to remove broken installs, that didnt work.
*All the stuff I said up there.

Have you tried using the unlocker program so you can delete the program?
