Hi :whistling:

Thers quite a bit going on here. This will take a few steps

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Please run a scan with HijackThis and check the following lines for removal:

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {585AE51A-558A-6737-A8E1-76D5FE24B7E1} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\wczcaf.dll
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,owrbgqn.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winclean] c:\windows\system32\winclean.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DllRunning] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\qjthjinv.dll",setvm
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Windows Installer] C:\DOCUME~1\BOOGWA~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\stdrun1.exe

O4 - Startup: Think-Adz.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\pwintoea.exe
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

Now close ALL other open windows except for HijackThis and hit FIX CHECKED. Exit HijackThis.

Reboot your computer in Safe Mode.
  • If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power.
  • Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
  • Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
  • Ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
  • Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
  • Login on your usual account.
Run Smitfraud Open the SmitfraudFix Folder, then double-click smitfraudfix.cmd file to start the tool.
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press Enter.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?" answer Yes by typing Y and hit Enter.
The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll. Answer Yes to the question "Replace infected file ?" by typing Y and hit Enter.

A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process, if you computer does not restart automatically please do it yourself manually. Reboot in Safe Mode.

The tool will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

4. Clean out your Temporary Internet files. Proceed as follows:
  • Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
  • Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.
  • On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
  • In the Delete Files dialog box, tick the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.
  • On the General tab, click Delete Cookies under Temporary Internet Files, and then click OK.
  • Click on the Programs tab then click the Reset Web Settings button. Click Apply then OK.
  • Click OK.
SDFIX
  • Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
  • Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
  • It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  • Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  • When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
  • Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
  • Please Post the following logs:[list]
  • c:\rapport.txt
  • Report.txt
  • A new HijackThis log

Ok the log looks better. Lets take a different approach

Please download ComboFix and save it to your desktop.
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's done running it will produce a log for you. Please post that log in your next reply.

Important Note - Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Hi Paco taco :whistling:

Ok I see why smitfraudfix and sdfix wouldnt run. Probably because of the presence of this file C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.com. We can clean this manually but it would be easier on both of us if you could try the directions in post #4.

Can you try that now for me and if you still have problems, just post back and we will keep plugging away
