Sound drivers and vista.

My sound drivers tell me its not compatible with Vista.
Its and AD1888 soundmax driver. Is there a patch/upgrade/help to sort this problem?

Go to the manufacturer's site for whoever built your computer if it is a prebuilt computer (aka Dell, Acer, etc...) and check and see if they have any Vista compatible drivers. If you built the computer yourself, then go to the manufacturer's website for the motherboard you used.

I did try that buit no updates were availabele :whistling:
Though I have fixed the problem by going through the device manager and telling it to look for updates.
Microsoft are providing some updates and patches seeing as nothing seems to be vista compatible!

Microsoft writes the code for Windows. Manufacturer's write the code for the device drivers, and are the only ones that can update them. Have you tried the XP driver? It may work.
