Hi

I am running XP pro 2002.

The other week when I restarted my computer I started getting an error message saying that there was checkdisk files missing or section deleted, and there had to be a check and I get a list of missing sections. Sorry for the lack of detail but I'm not at my Desktop til monday. Anyway, so that error message started coming up, and my comp was running slower, but I decided to let it pass because I reformated a month ago so I couldnt be asked...

Anyway, now I have to access safe mode (a long story that may just req another thread about me locking myself out of my files with the security tab and creating a new account for myself...) but I can't, it freezes on the black screen with all the white writting scrolling...

I hope that makes sense!

Help please!!!

Welcome to geeksto go
nope sorry I am not sure what you are saying but it sounds like a case where you can either restore the system to a point prior to the start of the problem(using system restore) or it sounds like something that you can do a "repair with XPcd" with, so do either of these solutions fit the bill to the problem wasn't clear this end, thks
