Its a very old version of nero to be trying on Vista. Try the newest version of nero, I think it's Nero 7... It's free for around a month I believe - thats more likely to work on Vista!

If its 64 bit you are using there is alot of compatibility issues with drivers and such and alot of burning apps dont work, try the built in stuff though its slower than nero but it works great.

Nero 7 works on Vista. You may be able to get it free if you look around a bit Nero is a good program except its stupidly over priced!

Yup, you will need Nero 7 to have Vista compatibility.

As others have said, you need the latest Nero. I had to install Nero 7.7.5.1 to get it to work on Vista. I tried the earlier version of 7.0, but it wouldn't install it.

I have Nero 7.7.5.1 installed on my vista PC and i'm having problems with making a DVD. It tells me that the burn was successful but when you play it back the video runs to slowly while the sound runs at normal speed thus loosing sync straight away. Has anyone else had this problem or got any ideas how to get it to work properly?
