CMOS Battery failure?

Just before windows, in DOS, I get the message:
"The firmware has detected that a CMOS battery failure occured. Press enter to continue"
I have been pressing enter and everything seems to be working fine, though this message
is unnerving. It's a 1 week old emachines W3503 desktop.

Try and enter the bios (hit del or f2 whil starting to boot)
Then inside select save the configuration and exit. This may solve the problem.
If not contact the place ware u bought it.
