cant watch videos

I finally got a nice computer to be able to watch webcast' and viedeos and such. For a while it worked ok, but now each time I goto vh1.com cmt.com and try to watch a video I get an error and IE closes. Can anyone help me with this, I believe it is a problem with add ons? I don't know
