Well i have a friend who has AOL, the router etc have all been installed correctly but when the laptop trys toi connect it doesnt pick anything up. It says "finding network" but doesnt... any ideas or aol wireless numbers?

Is it close enough the signal?? Might be out of range of the router?

Yeah it's in range of router but nothings happening. Even sittin close next to it. It's not at her home, it be at her grandmas, any codes need changing?

It may be encrypted. Did you check to see if it is a secure, encryted signal?

That laptop may not have permissions to access the router.

It's not mine, but it was all setup fine before... Since the move, she hasnt had net.

There could be many possibilities, most easy to fix. But if you are not at the computer and dont know the answers to specific questions it would be hard to diagnose.

I agree, if i was there i could probs sort it on my own, but with a description its hard, any telephone numbers?
