Hi, and welcome to Geeks to Go! Thanks for the kind words.
To see the list of processes and applications that start with Windows, click the Start button, Run..., and type in MSCONFIG. Go to the Startup tab. Browse the list. You may have to widen the "Command" column to get a better idea of what the item is. If you don't want it to start with Windows, uncheck it. You can also choose "Selective Startup" from the General Tab, uncheck "Load Startup Items", which will prevent any of them from starting. The next time Windows loads after you've made changes in MSCONFIG, you'll get a popup box about the changes. Just click "Don't show this again" and OK.
The only way I know of to get a list of the processes in Task Manager is to take screen shots (ALT+PRTSCN), then paste the images into WordPad, Paint, or some other graphics program. If you want to attach them to your thread, be sure to save them as JPG format, because I don't think BMPs will attach. Or alternatively, zip files will attach.
If this isn't what you needed, please post back.
