Ever since that Adobe became owner of the flash player i have been having trouble. how do i uninstall it and reinstall it? and will this fix the problem?

What kind of problems? To answer your questions, you can uninstall if it is shown in Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs list. Once uninstalled, you can go here to get latest version:
