Internet Explore Won't Open

The following message appears when trying to open Internet Explorer

The LAN settings have been change from automatically detect settings to use proxy server with address 127.0.0.1 and port 6711

We I try to change to settings the IE window disapears.

Help!!!!!!

Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK.
Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
Click the Back button to try another link.

Click start, control panel, network and internet, network connections, click internet TCP/IP then click properties, put the dot in automatic for both, click apply

Which firewall do you use

I have tried resetting the dial up settings but it is like someone imediately changes it back to detect settings use proxy server with address 127.0.0.1 and port 6711

We I try to change to settings back again the IE window disapears.

Can you right click the connection, click disable, confirm

Click make new connection, set one up and see if it runs

a quick google of port 6711 turns up several links like this. most say it is associated with maleware like subseven and backdoor-g.
