I need some help installing Windows 2000 on my very old laptop. But you see the problem the CD drive has recently died (due to age or something).
So I was wondering if it was possible install 2000 via network? I have a cat cable which can be used directly link to my other computer.... And I have Windows 2000 already installed on the Laptop (I just want to reformat, then install Windows 2000). So is it possible? Would anyone please help me out?

As a heads up, I don't know too much about computers so, I'd like things to be as simple as possible.

Any help is appreciated, thank you. :whistling:
