I have a dell inspiron E1705 laptop that i wanted to hook up to my dell desktop and use my laptop off the desktop . Well i figured out how to get the laptop screen to show up on the desktop screen, but i cant get the mouse to move or anything. So if anyone knows how to help me i would be very happy :blink:

This might help:

How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection. Are you using serial/parallel or ethernet wired connection and Windows Direct Connection? Neither of these may be what you're looking for.

Possibly KVM, either wired or software type made by KaVoom.
