most games and boot won't fill up screen

i made a change to my video settings, and i forgot what it was, and now when i get the loading windows screen, the screen witrh the window's symble, anyways, it is like widescrene looking, but the sides are also curved, and it sucks, and a few games won'tstreetch it to full screen, but win desktop stretches it, it is wierd, any seggestions?

nobody? and it might now of even been a configureation change, because i am pretty sure all i did was ajust my screen posation, but htne it stoped working right in certin games, the screen, it only changes to full screen if it uses Direct #D or Glide or some type of video rendering mode liek that

nope, didn't even touch it b4, it is currently set at 60 hz, it is an old AppleVision 1710 17" CRT monitor, think changing refresh rate will help?

60hz is pretty hard on the eyes, try bumping it to 75mhz.
