i use my laptop all day and now it won't start! earlier this morning it started downloading and installing a mcafee update. after about one hour of no progress i tried to turn the computer off but mcafee wouldn't let me. i removed the battery and when i tried to turn it on again it went to a black dos screen over and over again saying there is something wrong with windows and that it could be a hardware or software failure. not sure what to do as i can't even start the computer!

please help soon!!

thank you so much

now it says the partition is either too full, damaged, not formatted or formatted with an incompatible file system.

it asks if i want to reformat the drive and says it will delete all my files. i don't want to reformat my harddrive!?
