hi

My computer is taking a rather long time to load. By this i mean the time it takes for windows to load all programs etc.

I have run all specified viral programs you suggest, these found a number of worms etc which have been cleaned/removed, however my computer is still running like a pig.

I run defrag and scan d***, however these stop and start and never finish..its very frustrating!

Once my computer has loaded and the noises all stop the system seems to work fine, although a little slow.

Occassionaly when im word processing and save work there appears what seems to be a double save, the other starting with a '$' symbol or similar. This then dissapears soon after.

My HJT log appears to be very small also...any ideas why?

Im confused and jusy want my old computer back.

Please help!

Aidan
